There are two types of security scanners at airports:

Body Scanners – Used in both standard and some PreCheck lines, these scanners cannot see through the carbon fiber material in Shreddies. As a result, you will likely be stopped and questioned by security. If this happens, a simple explanation—such as calling them “special underwear” and mentioning the carbon fiber fabric—should suffice.

Travel Hack: To avoid potential delays or awkward conversations with TSA, pack your Shreddies in your carry-on, backpack, or purse and change into them after clearing security. This way, you can enjoy their benefits without any hassle.

Do Shreddies help with incontinence?

While Shreddies are designed to provide freedom from travel-related digestive issues and their related odors, they are not leak proof so they will not provide 100% protection from incontinence.
